Cheesy Jalapeno Garlic Bread

- 1 (16 oz) loaf French bread
- ½ cup butter , softened
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 jalapeños , divided
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a cookie sheet with foil or parchment.
Slice the French bread horizontally, creating two long halves.
Dice one jalapeño small. Slice the remaining jalapeño into thin slices.
Add butter to a medium size bowl. Use a garlic press to press the garlic into the butter. Add diced jalapeño and stir together.
Spread butter evenly on both halves of the bread. Top with both cheeses. Place sliced jalapeños evenly on top.
Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly and cut into slices.
