With all the talk of brownie batter lately, I thought I should share these babies from last year. One of my favorite flavors!
8. Last week I ran 2.5 miles twice, did three days of p90x (kickboxing, chest/back, and legs/back). Then I decided to go rock climbing and then I ran again the next day. And then I wanted to die.
9. I guess this month was National Ice Cream Month (who knew? Oh, yeah, I’m supposed to, I guess?) I posted some ice creams this month (totally planned…not!) I even have a link over there in the sidebar to all of my ice cream recipes. I’m not the only one who loves it though…here are a few from my Pinterest board that I thought I’d share with you:
1. Carrot Cake Ice Cream by Kitchen Meets Girl
2. Birthday Cake Ice Cream by Pint Sized Baker
3. Toasted Coconut Ice Cream with Fudge Ripple by Life Made Simple
4. Guilt-Free Snickerdoodle Ice Cream by The Domestic Rebel
5. Biscoff Pudding Pops by Bakeaholic Mama
6. Marshmallow KitKat Ice Cream by Inside BruCrew Life
7. Butter Pecan Ice Cream by Sweet Tooth
8. Nutter Butter S’mores Ice Cream by Something Swanky
9. Funfetti Ice Cream Cupcakes by Kristin’s kNook
Have some ice cream this weekend!
10. People who use Wordpress – I need your advice! My eventual goal is to move to self-hosting. Because of money, I’m figuring I will get Thesis or Genesis and build the site myself and then pay someone to integrate all my content and followers. Here are my questions for you: what child theme do you use? Do you use Genesis or Thesis? How hard was it to build your site (headers, colors, social media, etc.)? And were you able to take your GFC followers with you? Who did you use for your migration, if you used help? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Well, that’s it for today. Ha!
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend. Mine is going to involve a watermelon lemonade cocktail I will be creating on the fly. If it’s good I’ll share it. 🙂
Toodles!
xo,
Dorothy
The weeks are totally flying by but only 3.5 weeks until the kiddos go back? How long do they get off for summer before they return there for the next year up? Over here it’s an overwhelming 6 weeks. 6 whole weeks of insanity, LOL! We haven’t done anything neither. Hopefully a few thing before they return back- seaside for the day (if it’s warm), zoo, theme park.
Great recap on the week. What are those oreos that are light in colour? We don’t get them over here yet, just the regular Oreos. I’m intrigued.
As for Wordpress, I answered that in email but I know 100% for a fact that there is absolutely no way to move your GFC readers over. Google put a stop to having the GFC widget on any blogs other than Google powered blogs (I remember my Wordpress friends complaining about it). As for other migration, you really don’t need to pay anyone to move your stuff over. It’s really easy and if you’re making the move, just ask me. I’d love to help you.
2010 may have been a rough year for her but every year she sure was cute! Love those photos! I’m so proud of you for rock climbing – looks like you were really good at it too! Yay for ice cream, working out, brownie batter, and cocktails! TGIF!
Eeek! I’m so impressed that you went rock climbing. You rock, haha! =) And thanks for the ice cream feature! Seeing all of those great recipes compiled in one spot makes me want to make and taste-test each one! YUM!
Thanks Ashley!
“2010” haha. Hopefully you got a few good pictures that year.
National Ice Cream Month? I’ve only got a couple of days left to make it count…Thanks for the link love!
Oh, and your #10 looked like absolute gibberish to me. There’s a reason I make no money off of my blog..
Thought you’d like to know that Ribbet isn’t run by Google. They’re an independent company: http://www.ribbet.com/about.rbt and it says on the bottom of their pages “Ribbet.com is not sponsored by or affiliated with Google Inc.”
Thanks for the update! It just looked eerily like Picnik! 🙂
