Time for your favorite dessert cocktail: Sweet Cream Shooters. These are Sweet Shots with sweet cream, Kahlua, and vanilla vodka and they’re the perfect after dinner drink!
So, you might remember that I have a slight obsession with coffee creamer. Milk in coffee is boring – I need my coffee creamer and I need it in every cup! My favorite flavor of creamer is Sweet Cream Coffee Creamer. I always have an open one in my refrigerator and an extra in the garage just in case I run out. I cannot run out. My day would be ruined, I’m not joking.
It was only a matter of time before I figured out how to use my favorite coffee creamer in a dessert cocktail. Because a dessert cocktail just means you get to have dessert twice: I should know, I’ve made sugar cookie martinis!
Ingredient Notes
- Kahlua – this rum and coffee liqueur is the perfect after dinner drink – skip the actual coffee and have this instead.
- Vanilla Vodka – If you can’t find vanilla, you can use whipped, or add some vanilla extract.
- Sweet Cream Coffee Creamer – You can also use half and half or cream, and add some vanilla extract.
How to make Sweet Shots
- You want your ingredients cold – then just add the Kahlua and vodka to a shot glass, stir, and top with creamer.
- If your ingredients aren’t cold – add them to a shaker with ice, then shake and strain into glass.
- Top the shots with whipped cream!

- You can substitute Baileys or any creamy liqueur for the Kahlua.
