Skip the sugar without sacrificing your festive buzz with this low-calorie vodka drink! If you’re steering clear of sugary cocktails but still want to get your party on, I’ve got you covered. This recipe is my little secret to making any good low-calorie vodka punch – it’s so simple that even the least experienced mixologist can master it, yet so yummy that anyone who gets a taste will be sure to ask for a refill!
Low Calorie Vodka Party Punch
Almost everybody loves a good cocktail, but all those zippy espresso martinis and juicy rum runners add up fast. Any bartender will tell you that most cocktails (with the exception of stiff drinks like dirty martinis and old fashioneds) contain a whole lotta sugar! Drinks with high sugar content result in dreaded hangovers and bloated bellies, leaving you wondering if that fourth (or fifth) cocktail was really worth it.
Why you’ll love this recipe
This low-calorie vodka party punch recipe contains no added sugar, and is naturally sweetened with fresh fruit. Not only will you love the taste, but you’ll also adore waking up feeling bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, and hangover-free!
Ingredients in Vodka Party Punch
- Club soda – Chilled club soda (or you can even use flavored sparkling water)
- Vodka – Use your favorite brand (we love Tito’s)
- Limes – Sliced
- Assorted berries – Raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, etc.
- Mint – For garnish
How to Make Low Calorie Vodka Drinks
- Mix liquids: In a pitcher, combine vodka and club soda. If you’re making it ahead of time, wait to add club soda until just before serving.
- Add fruit: Add washed fruit to the pitcher and stir.
- Serve: Pour the punch over ice in your choice of glass. Garnish with a tucked mint leaf.
FAQs
Yes! If you’re too busy buzzing around to prep punch just before your guests arrive, combine all ingredients except the club soda and store it in the fridge. Just before serving, add the club soda. This will prevent your punch from going flat.
You can weaken the alcohol content of your punch by simply reducing the vodka:soda ratio to your liking. For example, you can add just ½ cup or ¾ cup of vodka and substitute it for ½ cup or ¾ cup of club soda.
