Holiday baking is soon to start – and no baking marathon is complete without a Silpat Non-Stick Baking Mat!

Silpat Giveaway at www.crazyforcrust.com

Do you have a Silpat? I have two, and I’m asking for more for Christmas. (Ahem, mom! 😉 )

Seriously – I use my Silpat almost every single day. I use it every time I bake to make my cookie sheets non-stick. When I’m making pie crust, I use Silpat’s cousin, the Roul-Pat. If I was making a holiday baking gift list – a Silpat would be my #1 item!

What’s amazing about using the Silpat for baking is it’s non-stick. Your cookies (or whatever you’re making) pops right off. Last week I made some stuffed chocolate chip cookies…although I didn’t stuff them well enough. The caramel inside leaked all over the place, but because I’d used a Silpat, all I had to do was peel it off.

According to the Silpat website, “Silpat® Non-Stick Baking Mats are designed for every type of oven. From savory to pastry baking, nothing sticks to Silpat®. It is reusable for thousands of uses and provides even heat transfer to baked goods.” And it saves money too – you don’t have to use parchment. Or grease your pan.

So pretty much, you need one or one hundred of these in your life.

And you’re in luck – I’m giving one away today! The generous folks at Silpat are giving away one Half-Sized Silpat to one lucky Crazy for Crust reader!

  1. I have always wanted to try the silpat but they are so expensive. I’ll keep my fingers crossed! Thanks for giving me the chance to win!

  2. I told my daughter that I’d like one of these for Christmas. I’ve never used one but it would sure be nice to have one or more.
