Homemade Caramel Mocha
Don’t let the holiday budget compromise your christmas spirit. Enjoy this caramel mocha latte anytime you please, without the guilt! Save money, time and enjoy a more personalized cup of coffee from the comfort of your home.
This Starbucks copycat Caramel Mocha Latte has endless variations and is super simple to make. With only 4 ingredients added to the coffee, you will enjoy your holiday cup without breaking the bank!
What does a caramel mocha have in it?
- Strong brewed coffee – or espresso
- Chocolate syrup – use regular or sugar free
- Coffee Syrup – caramel or vanilla
- Milk – we love using nonfat
- Caramel, for garnish
Recipe Swap
- For a lower-calorie coffee, use sugar-free chocolate sauce and sugar-free syrup.
- Most grocery stores carry Torani brand syrups in the coffee aisle, they usually have at least one sugar-free flavor.
- Use full fat or 2% milk if you prefer, or even non-dairy milk.
How to make Caramel Mochas at home
- Add coffee to your mug along with chocolate syrup and caramel syrup. Stir to combine.
- Heat milk in the microwave for about 1 minute – or until it’s not but not boiling. If you have a frother, froth until foamy on top. If you don’t have a frother, add to a blender and blend until it’s part foamy, about 3-4 pulses) – make sure to vent your blender.
- Pour milk over coffee, add foam on top, and drizzle with caramel.
Expert Tip
I use a Keurig and brew it to 4 ounces to make it super strong. You can also use an espresso maker, a Nespresso, or just brew really strong coffee.

I happen to have a hot pepperminty recipe coming up -tomorrow! Love all the delish looking drinks you made. I could go to town on them all!
man we totally need to be neighbours. I am a coffee freak. it’s a little weird. I am so addicted to the peppermint mochas at Starbucks but have had to cut way back b/c they are like $5 each which is totally excessive but I can’t help it.
Yeah, my husband knows not to talk to me until I’ve had a cup (more?) of coffee. This Mr. Coffee looks like a dangerous necessity…might have to add it to my Christmas list. ๐ I love all of the drinks you made with this – especially that salted caramel chocolate latte.
Thanks Ashley! It’s so good. ๐
These drinks look wonderful! I can see why you have one every day! ๐
Thanks Jessica!
Holy moly. Lattes at home? I’m afraid with a machine like this I would easily stay at home and drink lattes all day–hello, that salted caramel one looks fantastical. I’m so jelly of your machine! Now instead of going on Starbucks runs, I hope you don’t mind me coming to your house haha.
You’re welcome anytime. Lattes with two are better than 1!
