Peanut Butter Popcorn with everything but the kitchen sink! Peanut butter, reese's pieces, you name it, it's added to this popcorn recipe!

Sunday is the Big Game! Are you excited? I’m excited for the food. Really, that’s all I care about. Well, except for the fact that the 49ers got into the big game this year. That makes me happy too! The last time they won, I was a senior in high school. That was a long time ago, people. A loooooooong time.

Even though Jordan and I won’t be staring at the game the entire time, we still want to eat some good football food. And, a party table is good for every occasion, right? I love a good centerpiece or dessert table, and if I get a chance to make one I will!

I created this table with great deals I found at Walgreens this week, using my Walgreens Mobile App to help me shop and my Balance Rewards card to help me save money!

While I was shopping the sale items at Walgreens, I was trying to come up with a great sweet snack to make. I immediately thought of popcorn. Popcorn treats are always a huge hit at any party. So, let me introduce you to your newest favorite flavor:

Peanut Butter Kitchen Sink Popcorn

Peanut Butter Kitchen Sink Popcorn. I wanted to call this Peanut Butter Reese’s Pieces Hershey’s Candy Bar Muddy Buddy Popcorn, but I thought that title was too long. “Kitchen Sink Popcorn” kind of covered it, don’t you think? Really, you can put whatever you want in this popcorn. Go shopping and buy what’s on sale, that’s what I did! And pretty much everyone I love has a version of this popcorn. Ashton, Jocelyn, Aimee, and Hayely all have awesome versions, to name a few. So I’m adding my own to that impressive list.

I went through Walgreens shopping for my popcorn, picking up what was on sale and what I couldn’t live without (Reese’s Pieces, anyone?) This popcorn is so easy to make and comes together super quick, by just melting together peanut butter and white candy melts and mixing it with the popcorn and other sweets. And it’s oh-so-delicious!

But, you can’t have a Big Game party on sugar alone, now can you? No, you need the other basics of the Football Diet: chips, soda, and pizza.

A party wouldn’t be a party without a fun tablescape. I created this one with a lot of items I found at Walgreens, and with a little help from my computer. I was beyond stoked when I found that 49er duck tape with the other football themed items at the store. It was great for covering up the water bottle labels (and way easier than printing out labels!) A frozen pizza, some chips and Chex Mix, and soda that was on sale rounded out the menu.

I made the Keep Calm printables using my scrapbooking software. I thought it was a cute way to incorporate something fun into the design. And the x’s and o’s backdrop was created with a simple black poster board that I found at Walgreens, along with a white crayon.

{Can you tell I had no idea what I was doing when I drew the x’s and o’s? ;)}

Walgreens shop in store deals

The Walgreens Mobile App is great for shopping! You can see your local ads on the app, get coupons, and more! And, do you have a Balance Rewards card with Walgreens? It’s totally free, and is a store rewards card, to help you save money. Don’t worry, I always lose those cards too. With the Walgreens Mobile App, you don’t need to bring your card! They can scan the app, or you can enter your phone number at checkout to receive all the great deals. And every point earns you extra savings too!

One of the things I really love about the Walgreens Mobile App is that you can order photos straight from your phone. All those Instagram photos you take? Upload them to the Walgreens Photo Center and order fast! You can also pull photos from Facebook which is awesome. And they can be ready in as little as an hour. I ordered mine when I got to the gym, and they were done when I was finished with my workout!

So, get yourself to Walgreens to plan your Big Game Party! They have some super deals this week on all the football food you love.

Peanut Butter Kitchen Sink Popcorn 2

  1. Super cute table! I’m missing having a Walgreen’s in town – love them. And that popcorn looks amazing (and addictive)!

  2. I love peanut butter mixes and the idea of adding peanut butter to this one! Thanks for sharing ๐Ÿ™‚ Have a great week!

  3. Yay, niners! For not caring about football, I actually think I’ll watch this year since our team made it — yippee! And because of the food, OBVIOUSLY. I’m hoping to stuff my face silly and then some. This spread looks fantastic! I am all about the popcorn and that pizza.. simultaneously.
