Peanut Butter Brownie Batter Dip

When I am planning a party, I am always trying to find the perfect dip to fit the occasion and this one never fails me. I use cream cheese as a main base in this recipe, similarly to my other dip recipes, but I also use greek yogurt as another base for a lighter feel!

The brownie batter part of this recipe is really what seals the deal on the dip. It is made with my homemade brownie mix which makes my favorite rich brownie–and also makes a great brownie batter flavor within this dip!

Ingredients Needed

  • Cream Cheese: Have your cream cheese be room temperature.
  • Peanut Butter: Give it that peanut butter taste you need!
  • Greek Yogurt: You may substitute with regular yogurt or cool whip.
  • Homemade Brownie Mix: Homemade is the best and it’s easy to make but if you want to go the semi-homemade route, buy a box at the store.
  • Mini Chocolate Chips or Peanuts: Adds garnish to your dip!

How to make Peanut Butter Brownie Batter Dip

  1. Place 4 ounces of cream cheese in a large mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth. Add granulated sugar, peanut butter, and 1 teaspoon vanilla and mix until smooth. Stir in 1/2 cup yogurt. Place mixture in a serving bowl
  2. Place the remaining 4 ounces of cream cheese in the same mixing bowl. Mix with your electric mixer (no need to wash the beaters in between) until smooth. Mix in the brownie mix and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix until smooth. Stir in remaining 1/2 cup yogurt. Place in the other half of your serving bowl.
  3. Take a knife or the back of a wooden spoon and swirl the two dips together. Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips and/or peanuts for serving. Serve with assorted dippers.

Expert Tips

  • Have homemade brownie mix pre-made so anytime in the future it will be easy to reach for!
  • You do not need to wash the beaters in between mixing, it isn’t needed and saves you a lot of time!
  • I recommend having lots of assorted dippers ready when serving the dip, my favorites for this dip are cookies and graham crackers.

Instructions

  • Place 4 ounces of cream cheese in a large mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth. Add granulated sugar, peanut butter, and 1 teaspoon vanilla and mix until smooth. Stir in 1/2 cup yogurt. Place mixture in a serving bowl (I kept mine to one side, so that I could put the brownie half on the other side, then swirl.)
  • Place the remaining 4 ounces of cream cheese in the same mixing bowl. Mix with your electric mixer (no need to wash the beaters in between) until smooth. Mix in the brownie mix and 1 teaspoon vanilla. (Do this slow so you don’t wear the mix!) Mix until smooth. Stir in remaining 1/2 cup yogurt. Place in the other half of your serving bowl.
  • Take a knife or the back of a wooden spoon and swirl the two dips together. Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips and/or peanuts for serving. Serve with assorted dippers.
