Happy Friday everyone!
What have you been up to? I am so behind – after Austin and Disneyland, my Bloglovin’ feed is cray-cray.
Speaking of Bloglovin – Google Reader is going away soon! Be sure and follow me on Bloglovin! (I use it regularly and really, really love it. It’s way better than Google Reader anyway!)
1. So…I was gone last week. Did you see the wonderful guest posts I had for you?
Raspberry Tartlets by Something Swanky | Orange Chocolate Spice Cookies by Wine & Glue | Hot Fudge Fluffernutter Banana Bread by Buns in My Oven | Peanut Butter & Jelly Sugar Cookie Pizza by Mom on Timeout
Thanks to you girls for guest posting for me! It was SO nice to be able to totally unplug.
Well, except for instagram. And twitter. And FB. I can never really unplug those. #theyreinmyblood
2. Did you know that Hell froze over last Monday? And did you see the pigs flying over your house?
Jordan took pictures with characters. Ones in big fluffy costumes. #win
{In the past, she’s run screaming at the sight of them. We never have to go to Chuck E. Cheese – ever. We’ve skipped birthday parties because of her fears of big fuzzy characters.}
3. Next week is the Fourth of July. Can I interest you in some Patriotic Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bark?
Or how about a Raspberry Arnold Palmer to serve at your party? There’s even an adult’s only version!
4. I ate my way through every bakery in Disneyland. I really wanted a Dole Whip but the line was consistently 20 minutes long. ???!!!
I plan to copycat SO many things. Which should I do first?
5. I wanted to eat my computer screen when I saw these Dark Chocolate {flourless} Avocado Brownies by Heather’s French Press.
6. Jordan discovered Full House. She’s totally in love with it. It’s like a blast from the past…and it makes me feel reallllly old.
7. We started Big Bang Theory on Netflix. OMG it’s so hilarious. Now I understand why people have been telling me to watch it for 6 years.
8. Want a doughnut?
A bunch of us made copycats of Gourdoughs Doughnuts in Austin. If you want a good drool, go check it out!
9. This is, quite possibly, my favorite picture from all of Disneyland.

10. Did you know that Online BlogCon ’13 registration is up and running? We’re so excited for the sophomore year of our online blog conference. Go read more and register on the OBC ’13 site!
11. Speaking of OBC ’13, there’s a giveaway going on over there for an iPad Mini!
Go enter to win!
Have a great weekend y’all! I hope it’s relaxing, refreshing, and fun!
I have been eyeing the OBC13 for a month now! I really want to do it! It would be the first! My bloglovin feed is cray cray everyday it is hard to keep up!!!
I know – and I really feel bad. I’m trying to catch up, but with 2,300 in there…not happening soon! lol
It’s just the MAGIC OF DISNEY that she got over her fear! 😉 Oh and the Dole Whip wait is totally worth it, if you ever go back. If you’re ever in WDW though, just take the resort monorail from the Magic Kingdom to the Polynesian resort; they also sell dole whips, the line is considerably shorter, and it’s self serve so you can get as much or as little as you want!
I really hope we can get to WDW someday! I’m dying to go!!
Michael hates characters too! Good for Jordan for getting over her fear for Disney 😛 It looks like you guys had a blast and omg there was so much yumminess! And I laughed so hard when I first saw that Splash Mountain pic, and it is not failing to amuse me again now 😛
Also I love The Big Bang Theory and of course Full House ahhh memories.
I know, I laugh every single time I see it!! Thanks Kayle!
It looks like you guys had such a fun trip!
Thanks Tieghan!
Disneyland is so much fun. And that doughnut. Oh. My.
Thanks Emily!
