What is an Apple Cider Mimosa?

This mimosa is great for the fall months because of its amazing apple taste. It may sound sweet because of the apple cider, but it is all dependent on what kind of vodka and bubbles you use.

This recipe really is so easy and can be made for one person or a party. It would be great at Thanksgiving or any fall get together, and it would be great for any evening spent alone! Get into all the fall feels with this drink!

Ingredients Needed

  • Apple Cider: You can also use a high quality apple juice if that’s more easily available.
  • Vodka: Use apple vodka if you can find it.
  • Champagne or Prosecco: Required for any mimosa recipe!
  • Apple slices for garnish

How to make Apple Cider Mimosa:

  • To make one cocktail: add cider and vodka to a champagne flute, then top off with champagne and an apple slice.
  • To make a pitcher: add cider and vodka to a pitcher, then fill with a bottle of champagne and apple slices.

Expert Tips

  • To make this a Caramel Apple Mimosa: drizzle caramel sauce all over the glass!
  • Apple Cider is really popular in the fall months and can usually be found in the grocery store produce section with the apples.
  • For the champagne or prosecco, if you like your drink less sweet, go with a Brut. If you want a sweeter cocktail, go with a dryer one. The dryer the sparkling wine is, the sweeter it gets.

  1. I’m with you on the Halloween thing for sure! (not my fav holiday, and it shouldn’t be on a school night!) I’m also with you on this scrumptious sounding cocktail! YUMMY!

  2. Hi Dorothy! I love your blog by the way, it’s the one I keep up with the most often. I wanted to let you know that November 1st actually is a holiday- holy day is even where we get the word ‘holiday’. November 1st is All Saints Day, and the 2nd is the Commemoration of All Departed Souls. It is a holy day of the Catholic Church 🙂 people don’t get off of work or school for it usually but it’s an important day 🙂 I get what you mean though, I hope you both recovered on sleep!

  3. My birthday weekend celebration starts tomorrow, and these look like a perfect way to kick off the festivities! Love everything about these bellinis!
