Today I am showing you how to make a Nutella board – a FOOTBALL shaped one!  Have you seen the new frosting board trends on Tik Tok and Instagram? Many foodies have been going crazy over this no bake treat because it’s so quick to make and fun to decorate.

What is a Nutella Board?

It’s kind of what it sounds like, Nutella on a board, except it’s versatile and meant to be decorated with all kinds of treats. You can serve this with fruity pieces like bananas and straberries or nuts, coconut flakes, whipped cream, etc. 

Dessert boards are a perfect party treat because of it’s unique and festive presentation, and… it’s all on one board! Easy and fun for all to grab, dip and enjoy!

  • It’s football season here in America so I thought that making a Nutella board would be the perfect to shape into a football. But feel free to adjust this treat to whatever festivity you like. I have seen this look great for Valentines day, Halloween and more!
  • This board is so instagramable (kinda like my Peanut Butter Football). When you have finished making your Nutella board, you must take some Instagram photos of it! 

Ingredients Needed for a Football Board

  • Nutella– this is the delicious base of the treat – you could also use chocolate frosting
  • White frosting- to decorate the the football (use a can or my buttercream recipe)
  • Assorted Dippers- you can use pretzels, strawberries, coconut flakes, etc. 

How to make a Nutella Board

  1. Cut a sheet of parchment paper in the shape of a football. Adhere it to your board with a bit of frosting or Nutella
  2. Frost the parchment with the Nutella, adding more or less depending on the size of your board
  3. Pipe laces using the white frosting
  4. Surround the football with assorted dippers. Serve immediately!

Variations

You can try this butter Nutella board with any kind of treats. Like fruity pieces such as banana or apple slices, or other treats like marshmallows, croissants, M&Ms, graham crackers and much more.
