process shot of the turkey lettuce wraps.

Ingredients needed

  • Green onions: thinly sliced
  • Pepper: I’m dicing one yellow pepper – you can swap a red bell pepper if you want
  • Lettuce: I’m using large iceberg lettuce leaves but you can also use butter lettuce leaves.
  • Ginger: you can use either ground or grated fresh ginger
  • Ground turkey: use any meat you like. Ground chicken and beef work great in this lettuce wraps recipe.
  • Chili powder: this is what makes your meat aromatic and savory. You can also use red pepper flakes.
  • Soy sauce: I’m using low-sodium soy sauce for this recipe but you can use regular as well.

  1. I made this for dinner tonight. I am not big on ginger or peppers. So I put some chopped up water chestnuts and a little bit of sriracha. Delicious!

  2. Needs some other spice added to it. But I can’t figure out what that is. They are healthy but bland.
