Sweet, creamy, and pink – this Valentine Martini is the perfect recipe for a Galentine’s Day party (or for your Valentine). It’s a creamy strawberry martini with just a few ingredients – make a Martini for your Sweetie!
A Classic Cosmo is perfect for Valentine’s (it’s pink, after all), but if you’re looking for an easy creamy sweet Valentine’s Day dessert martini, look no further. I’m calling this a Sweetie Martini since I made it for Valentine’s Day, but really it’s a strawberry martini with vodka and amaretto. It’s delicious!
Ingredient Notes
- Vodka: Use your favorite vodka. You can use plain or use a flavored, like whipped or vanilla or even strawberry flavored, if you can find it.
- Amaretto adds a ton of flavor – it’s one of my favorite liqueurs
- Strawberry Syrup – you can use ice cream syrup or the kind of syrups coffeehouses use (i.e. Torani or Skinny Mixes). We love the Skinny Mixes Strawberry syrup best.
- Milk – you can also use half and half or heavy cream (but use whole milk, not fat free)
How to make a Martini for Valentine’s Day
- Making a martini requires a cocktail shaker and a martini glass – shake all the ingredients and strain into the glass.
- You can also turn this easily into a cherry martini by using grenadine.
- Garnish with fresh strawberries or raspberries.
- Turn it into a chocolate covered strawberry martini by adding a drizzle of chocolate sauce or swapping the amaretto for Godiva’s White Chocolate Liqueur.
Expert Tip
If you don’t want to use Hershey’s syrup or Skinny Mixes, you can make strawberry simple syrup: add a carton of strawberries to a pot and mash them. Add 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1/4 cup water and allow to cook until thickened. Puree and use in any cocktail!
