It’s finally Friday! Halloween Week has been a total blast…and now you all get to share in the fun too.

But first I’m going to make you sit through all my wonderful rambling. Yay you!

Did you all have a good week? Mine was busy!

This week I…

1. Catered desserts for my sister-in-law. Her florist business, Ambience Floral Design, turned 10! She did the flowers for my wedding to her fabulous brother before she started her shop (I think we kinda gave her the push that she needed to go for it). So congrats to her, she’s an amazing florist.

{Pssst…if you live in the Sacramento area and need flowers for fun, dances, weddings, or whenever, go check her out!}

Anyway, I made a few treats I’ll share with you soon. But this one (my personal fav) is from Shugary Sweets. I followed her recipe to a T – and they were fabulous!

 2. Well, obviously, it was Halloween Week. I made you scary sweets:

Sugary Stuffed Witch Hats.

Sweet Ghosts.

And gross eyeball pie.

Hayley made Wicked Witch Cupcakes, Spider Bites,Reese’s Peanut Butter Ghosts, and Eyeball Truffles.

3. Giveaways for Online BlogCon are in full swing! This week we announced Silpat and Simply Sweet Creations. You can still register and learn about meet-ups too!

4. Let’s talk RHONJ. Them bitches are cuh-razy! It’s like a train wreck. The titanic of Real Housewives…families ruined! Friendships ruined! You feel like you need to shower after watching. And I cannot wait until part 2!

5. Let’s talk RHONY. I mean, I know Ramona is dramatic and a little over the top. But jeez. Aviva. Lighten up a little, would you? Have a little fun, it might make you a less fearful person. They were on vacation. Who hasn’t danced on tables and bars while on vacation?

…crickets…

I’m kind of sad. Both New York and New Jersey are ending. What am I going to watch?

Oh, yeah. Miami has already started. And Atlanta comes back next week. {Claps hands with glee.}

6. I got a new camera. I found an awesome deal on a Nikon D3100 and I snapped it up. I’m having a lot of fun playing with it. Now I no longer have camera envy. I have lens envy instead.

7. Jordan bought cowgirl boots this week. They are for her Halloween costume. I split the cost with her. It was over 90 degrees several days this week and she wore them every. Single. Day.

My child is growing up WAY TOO FAST. You should have seen her model-walking these around. She’d impress Tyra, that’s for sure.

7. Speaking of Jordan, she’s never ever gonna get it. Honey, newsflash: when it’s before 6am and I’ve just woken up, that is not the time to play 20 questions and expect to be answered. It’s not gonna end pretty.

8.Okay…and now what you’ve all been waiting for! The culmination of Halloween Week…

It’s a Halloween Linky Party!!!!

Link up all your old or new Halloween goodies. As long as it was made by you, feel free to link it up, no link back needed. We’d love for you to share the party if you’d like.

Let’s get spooky!

Thanks for reading and linking! I can’t wait to see what spooky you have waiting for us.

Oh, and have a wonderful weekend! ((Hugs))!!

xo, Dorothy

  1. That’s the same camera I have! When you learn how to work it properly, let me know. I’ve yet to read the instruction manual and it’s been a year and a half.
    Boots make anyone a model. Didn’t you know that?
    I love the bunting banner at the top of your blog!

    🙂

    1. Ha! I’m trying. And boots totally do that. When I put on my Franco Sarto black stretchy boots, I feel thin, sexy, and perfect. 🙂 They’re like the “magical pants” only in shoe form.
