This Peanut Butter Martini is just two ingredients and no fuss to your favorite dessert martini ever!! Oh so sweet and chocolate, this is one of the best dessert cocktails I’ve ever had.
Peanut Butter Cup Martini
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are some of the best candies out there and I thought turning it into this dessert martini would be a great idea–and it is! It uses real peanut butter and chocolate milk, as well as chocolate liqueur and vodka. They all work so well together in creating this peanut butter cup martini.
I drizzle chocolate syrup in my martini glass before pouring the drink in and it added the extra chocolate layer! And I of course put a peanut butter cup on the martini glass rims! This drink is great for any occasion and anyone who likes peanut butter cups will love this recipe. It’s a decadent cocktail that really does taste like a peanut butter cup!
Ingredients Needed
- Creamy Peanut Butter: I recommend using no-stir (not natural) peanut butter
- Vodka: You can use vanilla vodka as well, any brand
- Creme De Cocoa: Any brand, but use the clear kind.
- Chocolate Milk: Any kind of chocolate milk (fat content/nondairy)
How to make Peanut Butter Martini
- Add peanut butter to a microwave safe bowl and heat 30-45 seconds or until pourable.
- Pour peanut butter into an EMPTY cocktail shaker. Add vodka, chocolate liqueur, and chocolate milk. Do not add ice at this point. Close the shaker and shake vigorously to combine the peanut butter with the other ingredients.
- Add ice to the shaker, replace the lid, and shake again to chill.
- Rim glass with chocolate sauce or add a drizzle of chocolate syrup around the sides and bottom of glass. Strain drink into glass. Serve with a peanut butter cup for garnish.
Expert Tips
- If you don’t have chocolate milk, low fat milk will work as well, or nondairy, you’ll just need to add some chocolate sauce to make the drink more chocolatey.
- Sprinkle chopped peanut butter cups on top!
- I love serving this in a traditional martini glass or a coupe glass.

Other Martini Recipes
A lady friend of mine ordered one for dinner the other night! I had never heard of such a drink before then.
First I had to laugh at the name!
When the drink came I laughed again just from its appearance. It came in a martini glass; the light chocolate appearance reminded me of the chocolate pudding cups my kids ate when they were younger! To use their language it was Yucky Looking. There was a miniature Reeses cup skewered onto an a longer than normal toothpick balanced over the glass resting across it. It also had a half of a Reeses peanut butter cup as a garnish! My date took a sip and said “mmmmmm, good.” She passed the glass over to me to sample. I took a small sip, cooked my head and exclaimed “Nice.” I didn’t voice my true opinion of the drink to hurt her feelings or my chances of getting lucky with her later that evening after dinner. I did get lucky and she tasted far better than that awful Peanut Butter Martini!!
Picture shows vanilla vodka but recipe just indicates vodka. Which one do you use?
Vanilla vodka tastes better but not everyone has or can find it, so you can use either.
